Like normal toilets and toilet seats, shower toilets also need to be maintained rapidly.
Due to its complicated functions and structures, it is more complicated to clean than a normal toilet and toilet seat.
Here are guides on how to maintain shower toilets:
1. Clean nozzle;
2. Clean toilet lid and seat;
3. Clean the function unit;
4. Clean the toilet;
5. Descaling the shower toilet.
Now, here are detailed procedures for each step:
1. Clean nozzle.
a. Do not sit on the toilet, press “Rear wash” or “Front wash” button, the nozzle will come out without spraying water;
b. Release the nozzle end to clean it with a small brush;
c. Clean the nozzle body with the small brush;
d. Install the nozzle end back to the nozzle;
e. Press “Stop” button to let the nozzle go back.
2. Clean toilet lid and seat.
a. Use a wet towel to clean the toilet lid and seat;
b. Rise the lid and seat at 90 degrees, press left and right side buttons at the same time to release the lid and seat;
c. Clean the damper part with the wet towel.
3. Clean the function unit.
a. Take off the decorative board and clean it;
b. Clean the upper part of the function unit;
c. Press release buttons on the function unit at the same time can release the function unit from the ceramic, and clean the bottom of the function unit.
4. Clean the toilet.
a. Clean the top surface of the toilet;
b. Clean the toilet with a toilet brush.
5. Descaling the shower toilet.
a. Install back the function unit;
b. Install back the toilet lid and seat and close them;
c. Take off the cap on the function unit;
d. Long press the “Descaling” button to start the descaling program;
e. After the program starts, the toilet will drain all water in the water tank out, then start to beep;
f. Fill the descaling agent into the inlet on the function unit till hear a “beep” sound;
g. Close the cap and install back the decorative board, the toilet will run the descaling program. The program will last for 5- minutes, and the shower toilet will not respond to any command during the processing.
At last, steps 1-4 are suggested to do every week; step 5 is suggested to do every 3-6 months depending on the water's hardness.
